BEST PLACES TO VISIT IN KENYA
Nairobi city
My personal take on what this beloved country has to offer.
Hello everyone, I'm a Kenyan girl currently living abroad. I wanted to dedicate this first post to my native country- Kenya! So here we go.
Kenya is a beautiful East-African country filled with great people, warm tropical climate, diverse wildlife, white sandy beaches and overall alluring nature.
I'd highly recommend it as a great tourist destination. One gets to experience a whole new culture, lots of languages and visit plenty of places such as National parks.
You could also climb the all year round snow-capped Mt. Kenya and try different culinary dishes as well as enjoying the scenery it has to offer.

Kenya is widely known for its wildlife. It is home to the Big five: Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards and Rhinos.
However, there's so much to see from various bird species to the annual wildebeest migration, Gorillas, Flamingos, Giraffes as well as Crocodiles.

Moving on to what this amazing country has to offer, Culture and Cuisine. A fun-fact is that there are around 68 spoken languages in Kenya.
The staple drink is Tea. The agricultural sector is more prominent with much of its produce including coffee, wheat and horticulture.
The most notable cultures are the Samburu and Maasai as they still dress traditionally. The most common food in Kenya is Ugali or Chapati and meat stew.

An amazing place to visit would be the Giraffe Manor. What better way to start/end the day than by having breakfast or afternoon treats with friendly Rothschild giraffes.
Lake Nakuru is also a spectacular place to see its famed flamingos. Hell's Gate National Park is a stunning place to view the Great Rift Valley and marvel at it's beauty.

Here's a link to a video that pretty much sums up some of the best places to visit and stay while travelling to Kenya.
I hope you'd want to visit these places as there's no better feeling than seeing wildlife at such a close range.
The country's scenery is simply breath-taking and you'd get to have an out-of-this world experience as some would say.
Let's not forget one of my favorite places, the coastal region marked by the famous Portuguese fortress known as Fort Jesus.
Lamu island is one of the oldest cities and a renowned port during the Indian Ocean trade era. It's characterized by old colonial houses and dhow boats.
One would also enjoy snorkeling, deep-sea diving, freshly-made coconut juice and go on camel rides on the beach.
These are just but a few locations I'd recommend anyone to visit. Rest assured there's a vast plethora of stuff to do and see.
