Five Must visit Museums in London Museums are a great way to learn more about works of art like sculptures and paintings. A great way to spend your time in the city would be visiting some of the most famous ones that also happen to be free-entry museums. Here are some of the most interesting ones that I got the chance to visit last summer whilst in London. 1. Natural History Museum A walk through time: this museum features plant, animal, fossil, rock and mineral specimens. The main attractions include a giant sequoia tree, dinosaurs, exhibits from natural world, an earthquake simulator, an array of stuffed birds and the renowned Blue Whale skeleton known as Hope.  2. Summer in London

Sights to see in London Last year I traveled to London and spent a day exploring this lovely city. What I loved about the city in general is that all landmarks and attraction sites are within a walking distance from each other. I started the day by alighting at Westminster station, admired the River Thames and the bustling of people around while walking past Westminster Palace towards Trafalgar Square via 10 Downing Street and the changing of the Queen's Life guard at the Household Cavalry Museum. I made a quick stop at The National Gallery to cool down since the summer heat was becoming unbearable, saw a few artworks as well as paintings by Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent van Gogh.  At midday, I bought a sandwich and a drink then walked towards St. James' Park and had my lunch in the shade of enormous trees. The City of a Hundred Spires Prague otherwise known as the ‘Golden City of a Hundred Spires’ is a sophisticated city best known for its Gothic architecture.  Its the capital city of Czech Republic, a country in Central Europe renowned for its baroque buildings, a medieval Astronomical clock and Gothic churches.  Landmarks that you need to visit whilst in the city include: 1. Old Town Square This is a historic square located between Charles Bridge and Wenclesaus Square. It houses the Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn as well as the Baroque St. Nicholas Church. There is also Prague Orloj; a medieval astronomical clock mounted on Old Town Hall that still functions since its installation in 1410. Christmas markets are held yearly attracting visitors from abroad and locals alike. 2.
